Exceeding Expectations

At Centennial we believe that learning is a life-long process. We must provide students with the skills to continue to learn in a meaningful manner. In order to do this, our goals are to:
• strive to encourage a life-long habit of reading for both the acquisition of knowledge and for pleasure.
• endeavour to provide assistance in order to promote and encourage information literacy and the development of strong research skills. In this age of information overload it is impossible to retain everything we learn so we must know how to quickly access information.  There are approximately 15,000 books in the Centennial Secondary School Library collection as well as numerous online databases.
