Dance

The Dance Program is organized as a partnership between Centennial Secondary School and the Quinte Ballet School of Canada.  This program offers a unique opportunity for students to dance during school hours to receive up to 2 credits a year. This professional dance program focuses on developing technique, creativity and artistry. The curriculum is based on ballet training and all technique classes are accompanied by a professional musician. Theory includes the study of anatomy, injury prevention, nutrition, history of dance, and portfolio building. Entrance into this program must be arranged through an audition process conducted by the Quinte Ballet School of Canada
