On Thursday our Chargers will take on the Holy Cross Hurricanes in the COSSA Junior Football Championships! Come out and cheer on your Junior Chargers as they battle for the Central Ontario Championship!
A HUGE congratulations to the Junior Chargers Rugby team for defeating Holy Cross to become the 2018 COSSA Champions! The Charger girls are now the Bay of Quinte and COSSA champions for 2018, have completed an undefeated season, and have qualified for the Barbarian Cup. Congratulations team on a dominant season to date!
The 2018 CSS Athletic Awards Banquet will take place on Tuesday, June 12th starting at 3:00pm. All those who participated in athletics this year as well as their families are invited to attend. There will be no cost for this event. Add it to your calendars and book your time off for this awesome event now!
The Centennial Gymnastics team had a very successful showing at the OFSAA Championships in Sudbury April 23-24. Pictured are Molly Dion-Bronze Medalist Level 3 Floor and Gold Medalist Novice Aerobics, Linn Neumaier-Gold Medalist Level 3 Vault and Novice Aerobics, Grace Vandervelde Silver Medalist Level 4 Bars and Bronze Medalist Level 4 Floor and Heather Haggarty Silver Medalist Level 5 Vault. Kaitlyn Moncrieff was a gold medalist for Level 1 floor and Novice Aerobics. The Level 1 team were also silver medalists.
Other CSS gymnasts who made the top 8 podium were: Marlene Gorka-7th Level 1 Vault, Kennedy Truin-6th Level 1 Bars, Yamina Yenigin-4th Level 1 Floor, Rebekah Grigoriou-5th Level 2 Vault and 8th Level 2 Floor, Mattea Shunock-5th Level 2 Floor and Grace Vandervelde-7th Level 4 Vault and 5th Level 4 Beam. All results are posted under gymnastics in winter sports section.

The Centennial Novice Aerobics team won a gold medal at the OFSAA Gymnastics Championships in Sudbury. Congratulations to team members: Jamie Dafoe, Linn Neumaier, Mattea Shunock, Molly Dion, Rebekah Grigoriou and Kaitlyn Moncrieff.
The Centennial Gymnastics team won the overall team championship at COSSA and will be sending 20 athletes to OFSAA.
Congratulations to the Centennial Gymnastics team for an excellent showing at the Bay of Quinte Championships. 25 CSS gymnasts have qualified for COSSA on Monday, April 16th at the Quinte Bay Club.
