Centennial Remembers

remembrance day  The Rembrance Day Assembly was held today.  World War 2 

  veteren Bill Robertson was in attendance, and his story of being shot down

  in his plane over Belgium and in hiding for over 4 months in Belgium was very moving.  

  A special thank you to Mr Symons and the World Studies department, and Mr Reed and the

  choir for an excellent assembly.  Please see the photo galleries for some pictures from the assembly.

ANTI BULLYING WEEK

ANTI BULLYING WEEK  Anti Bullying week will be November 17-21.  There will be a meeting

  in Room 141 at 2:45 for any students that are interested in getting involved. 

  There is a guest speaker organized for November 18 in the auditorium at 1:30.

MOCK UNITED NATIONS TRIAL

united nation trial  Centennial Secondary Students participated in the Mock United Nations

 Trial held at the HPEDSB Board Office.  Representing Centennial were:

  Bo Chen, Mike Kirkpatrick, Emily Sudds, Tia Svoboda, Dan Hall, Sam Bardwell,

  Leah Hamilton, and Madeline Green.  More photos are displayed on our photo galleries.  

BAY OF QUINTE CHAMPIONS 2014

fball  Captains Chase Peck, Austin Reynolds, Kaelan Fraser and

  Jonah Murrant hold the Bay of Quinte Senior Boys Football

  Trophy.  The Senior Team defeated Moira in the BQ Finals.

   COSSA will be this Wednesday, November 5 at the turf field at

   1:00.  Students are encouraged to buy a $2.00 ticket to support the team

   and watch the COSSA championship game.  Proceeds will go to the

   CSS Lunch Program.
