John M & Bernice Parrott Foundation Inc

parrott Centennial Secondary graciously received a $25,000.00 donation

 from the John M. and Bernice Parrott Foundation Inc. to assist with

 the Centennial Library Revitalization.  Students and Staff will be able to 

 enjoy updated resources in a modernized library facility with construction 

 beginning in June, 2016.  

CSS 50th Anniversary Committee

css reunion  The Centennial 50th Anniversary organizing committee are meeting monthly to organize a wonderful weekend of events for CSS Alumni from Thursday, May 11 to Sunday, May 14, 2017.  Check out the Anniversary website.

National Silver Medalist-Automotive Service Technology

taylor  Congratulations to Taylor McGinnis who won a silver medal at the Canadian

 Skills Competition for Automotive Service Technology.  Taylor travelled with

 teacher Troy Bartlett to Moncton, New Brunswick from June 5-8, 2016 to 

 participate in the National Skills Competition.  Newspaper Feature

Bev Goulding Coaches Award

joe Congratulations to Mr Dicresce for being chosen for the Bev Goulding

 Coaches Award.  The award is presented to a coach in the COSSA area for

  their contribution to student athletes, and was presented to Mr Dicresce at 

  the COSSA AGM on Thursday, June 9, 2016.  Mr Dicresce has coached 

  several sports for over 20 years, and is a wonderful mentor and coach to

  all of his athletes.  

Centennial Athletic Banquet 2016

athletics winners 16Congratulations to all Athletic Banquet Award Winners for 2016.  Year End winners are pictured:  Gr 9 Male and Female Athlete of the Year winners were Ayden McLean, Colby Crowe and Natasha Luffman.  Junior Male and Female Athlete of the Year winners were Carson Waite, Mickaula Douglas and Anna Davidson.  Senior Male and Female Athlete of the Year were Blake Reid and Erin Cassibo.  Tia Svoboda won the Charger Spirit Award, Vanessa Beaudrie and Matt White won Contribution to Athletics, Madeline Green, Sam Roy and Mr Davidson recieved the Ofsaa Leadership in Sport award and Brandon Bradley won the Pat Carty Memorial Award.
