Senior Boys Football-BAY OF QUINTE Champions !
The Senior Boys Football Team defeated MSS 16-6 to capture the Bay of Quinte Championship
for the third year in a row. The team was down 6-2 with 1:30 left, when Quarterback Brady Crowe
found Chase Bourgoin in the endzone for a touchdown. Defenseman Kyle Rutter intercepted a Moira
pass with a minute remaining and ran in for a touchdown to secure the win for the Chargers. The team
will play in the AA Cossa Championships on Thursday, November 10 at 1:00 pm. Congratutions and Good
Luck to the team at Cossa !!
St John's Ambulance Therapy Dogs
On Tuesday December 13th and Tuesday January 17th, there will be St. John Ambulance Therapy Dogs in our school. The St. John Ambulance Therapy Dog Program provides services in a wide range of community settings including schools. The St. John Ambulance Therapy Dog, accompanied by a volunteer handler, offers comfort and companionship to individuals. Students and employees are provided with an opportunity to feel, touch, pet, cuddle and read to the St. John Ambulance Therapy Dog. This voluntary program is supported by a community partner. Vimy Ridge Trip
Pictured are Mr Woodcock, Miss McConnell, Mrs Thorton and Mr Sled who will
be travelling to Vimy Ridge in April, 2017 to participate in the anniversary ceremony.
The trip will also visit Belgium and Flanders Fields. The school will be holding a craft
show this Saturday, November 5 from 9-3:00 to help offset travel costs to the participants.
