2017 Ofsaa Wrestling-BRONZE Medal

asCongratulations to Alex Dodson, for winning a Bronze Medal

at the Ofsaa Wrestling Championships in Brampton.  Alex won

his first two matches, before losing in the semi finals to the eventual 

Gold medal winner.  He then won two more matches to win his Bronze

2017 Ofsaa Wrestling

ofsaa wrestlers  Best of luck to Centennial Students Rory Facette, Alex Dodson, Natasha Luffman and 

 Chris Anthony who all qualified for Ofsaa Wrestling in Bramptom next week.  Alex and Chris

 both won gold medals at COSSA last week, and Rory and Natasha were silver medalists at


2017 Ottawa SHSM Trip

shsmThe Health and Wellness SHSM group traveled to Ottawa in February.  The trip

included a tour of Algonguin College and University of Ottawa Health and Wellness

programs, as well as a tour of the Canadian Tire Centre.  The strength and conditioning

coach for the Ottawa Senators and nutrionalist for the Ottawa Senators gave presentations 

to the students as well.  The trip highlight of course was attending the Ottawa Senetors

Hockey Game vs St Louis.
